New month, new recipe series and I’m *pretty freaking pleased* to announce that November is all about the humble and ubiquitously beloved potato. Introducing…The Potato Series!!!
I’d venture to say no single vegetable is quite as versatile as the potato. Sure, people have tried to cauliflower everything that could be cauliflowered but the fact remains that the potato is the true chameleon here. Plus, it’s cheap, filling and almost never goes bad. The potato is the pantry MVP and I can’t wait to immerse myself in all the starchy goodness this month.
That said, I want to know…what’s your favorite potato dish? I might just incorporate it into my November potato rolodex🥔
Potato pave is one of my favorites. It is a bit involved as you must mandolin slice potatoes and assemble in a loaf pan the night before layering with cream, parm and rosemary, etc. Then next day cut into 2" pieces and lightly fry all sides before serving. But, it is freaking amazing. I think it was a Thomas Keller original but Martha does a nice job of it here: https://www.marthastewart.com/256657/potato-pave
But yeah, really, as already mentioned below pretty much anything with potatoes. :)
Like choosing a favorite child!!

I’m an equal opportunist when it comes to potatoes - I love all forms but diner home fries are my favorite
