As I’m sure you’ve seen by now, September is the month of shrimp in the FLD test kitchen (idk why I keep saying that, it just like that it makes things sound much more official than they really are). Every Wednesday this month I’m sharing a new shrimp recipe: last week I made cocktail shrimp with old bay aioli and on the docket this week is an extra special shrimp dumpling (you’ll see). But I’m not gonna lie, was *super* hard for me to narrow down the world of amazing shrimpy things to just 4 dishes. THERE ARE SO MANY!!! Popcorn shrimp (Joe’s Crab Shack, IYKYK), shrimp n grits, jambalaya, shrimp po’ boy, shrimp tacos…I could go on forever. So I want to know…
What’s your favorite way to enjoy the humble, magical, perfect shrimp??
In many Chinese restaurants there is a popular dish called “Honey Walnut Shrimp.” If made correctly (because it’s not all consistently made the same) it is so delicious!! 😇😇😇
