We all go through tough times. Supposedly this is how people become more "mature": hard times-->struggle-->growth-->better person--> easier times. This is a weird, and IMO false algorithm.
Usually we (humans) go through hard times, struggle, shrink (as a opposed to grow), become worse as people (get edgy and "done" with the world), then time passes and nothing actually gets better. In the end, you're just lucky that you're strong enough to endure it all, regardless of whether or not anything "improved". More than anything, it makes you *real*, and (hopefully) you respect yourself even MORE after going through it all.
After these experiences, nobody feels better, nobody behaves better, and in fact many things remain worse. You just *are* better, regardless of whether it's noticeable. Maybe this is the magic of life.
Listening to you is so comforting!
that makes me happy to hear :)
Glad your transitions seem to have gone well Emily. I recently came across a baked gnocchi recipe. Have you ever tried something like that?
Yeah! Maybe I'll try a video too.
