It brings me so much joy to see banh bot loc featured on here! I honestly thought I was imagining things. They are SO good warmed up but also taste delicious at room temp. It looks like you got to dry the ones that were wrapped in banana leaf. They also exist without them but I prefer when they're wrapped at banh mi shops. Growing up in the San Jose area, my mom used to always buy them from the aunties making them out of their homes (similar to tamales). These days, I order them from IG. 😅
