I'm going to Chicago next weekend! It's one of my favorite places but I haven't gotten to explore in awhile because I usually just go for Cubs games (big baseball fan). ANYWAY. Here are some of the things on my list for next weekend:

Take a long walk on the lakefront -- the lakefront path is GORGEOUS. Hopefully it's not too cold for this this weekend.

For deep dish, everyone recommends Pequod's. I've never been but going to try to go next weekend.

Art Institute of Chicago -- you have to buy a ticket ahead of time.

Take an architecture boat tour on the river -- Chicago's architecture is so incredible and the tours are really informative and fun!

I haven't been in awhile but I think Wicker Park still has a lot of cool restaurants, thrift stores, and antique shops.

If you want a stunning view + a touristy experience, go to the bar/restaurant on the 96th floor of the Hancock Tower. There's also a great view from the women's restroom there!

Wrigleyville has a slightly bad rep now because it's so fratty but I love that the ballpark is just right in the middle of a neighborhood like the East Village or something. There are fun bars in the area, Boystown is near there, and a little ways south is Lincoln Park which is nice to stroll around.

Enjoy and I hope the weather turns around!
