Friends, I have a very serious problem. And that problem is that I am fully, completely, undeniably addicted to ordering sushi almost every single day for lunch. I simply cannot help it!! Enoki Sushi has me in a chokehold and I am powerless to resist the 3-roll lunch special with a side of tobiko for my homemade spicy mayo dipping sauce. Steve Jobs had his black turtlenecks, I have my sushi.* It’s one less decision to make in an otherwise decision-packed day.
Is anyone else in a co-dependent relationship with their lunch order? What is it?
*still waiting for my repetitive lunch strategy to yield any tangible results/success but I stand by the comparison
I also do this regularly: I fixate on a food/meal for weeks, sometimes months, until I inevitably get sick of it and have to move on. But I will never get sick of my beloved sushi. My order: spicy salmon roll, salmon avocado roll, yellowtail scallion roll, tobiko. I use the tobiko to make a spicy mayo with kewpie mayo, hot sesame oil and togarashi. I dip every piece in spicy mayo and soy sauce and that is what we call trash sushi nirvana
if i have time in the middle of the day to walk to sweetgreen, i'm getting a chicken pesto parm warm bowl. my go-to order, could eat it 7 days a week, freaking delish.

honestly trashy sushi is so delicious i can't get enough either...usually our go-to dinner a few nights a week (incl some sort of fried/tempura roll)
I used to live right next to a CAVA which was super dangerous.
My order:
Green & Grains Bowl, Pita on the side
Super greens mix, Saffron basmati rice
Grilled chicken
2x red pepper hummus, 1x roasted eggplant
Tomato & onion x2, Fire roasted corn x2, Tomato & cucumber, Pita chips, Feta cheese, Romaine lettuce
omg CAVA!!!! i absolutely went through a CAVA phase and if they ever open one closer to me, I will repeat that phase
